Here I present to you my small collection of 5.25" diskette sleeves, also known as jackets! There are currently 19 jackets in this little museum, whose title comes from the warning on the back of the "Bonus Personal Computer Disk" sleeve seen below. The background image is taken from the back of a TRS-80 jacket. In real life each of these jackets protects a disk, rather than behaving emptily, as they appear here. The jackets are either from a computer or software manufacturer, a disk manufacturer, or a local company that had a diskette-copying service.

Although the only 1980s computer I currently own is an Otrona Attache, I've had the privilege of owning an Osborne 1 and Kaypro II. The Osborne didn't come with any diskettes, but the Kaypro and Otrona both came with a variety of diskettes with sleeves from other manufacturers, such as Apple and Tandy, which is how I am able to show those to you here. I don't anticipate finding many more jackets to add to this this webpage, but who knows what the future holds!
